Billa's director, Vishnuvardhan, is hard at work on his next project, Sarvam starring Arya and Trisha, produced by Ayngaran International. Having earlier approached Surya, who was unable to allott dates, Vishnuvardhan signed up Arya for the lead role in Sarvam and even tweaked the role a bit to suit Arya's image.
Another unique point about the movie is that this is the first time that Vishnuvardhan and Trisha will be collaborating on a project. Though the director had approached Trisha before, she was unable to accept any of his offers due to lack of dates. J.D. Chakravarthy has been given a negative character.
The movie has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons. Sometime in May 2008, 2 technicians met with accidental deaths while working on the sets of Sarvam. And just last week, J.D. Chakravarthy, who plays a negative role, met with a small accident; he was hit on the chest while filming an action sequence. Consequently, he was rushed to hospital where he was advised some bed rest and the crew packed up for the day.
J.D. Chakravarthy has tasted success after his negative role in Homam starring Jagapathi Babu. Industry sources also say that director Shankar was so impressed by the director-turned-actor's intensity that he has offered him the villain's role in his magnum opus, Endhiran, starring Rajinikanth.
If J.D. Chakravarthy bags the role in the superstar's movie, then his career is sure to skyrocket to unimaginable heights.
